Monitoring & Rebooting

When you’re much too busy working on your site or developing your web apps, you barely have time to keep an eye on what is happening with your Virtual Private Server – if it’s overloading or if all the services are running okay. With our Optional Managed Services package, we’ll do this on your behalf. Your VPS will be added to a custom monitoring system and every single time there’s a sign of a problem, our sysadmins will be warned straight away.

Weekly Backups

Backing up a Linux Virtual Private Server definitely isn’t the easiest thing on earth. You will either have to use a separate server or your desktop computer, alternatively assign some 3rd–party solution. We offer a much easier alternative with our Optional Managed Services package. We will make a full backup copy of your server on a weekly basis, so you never need to be worried about permanently losing any critical information. And we can recover a backup very quickly. All the backups are placed on a special machine with a RAID array of hard disk drives, so if anything happens to any part of your stored content, we’ve got your back.

Installation & Troubleshooting

Using a Linux Virtual Private Server, you have absolute freedom to install any kind of script or service on your it. Still, certain scripts are harder to run and might require some extra setup on your part. This is when our Optional Managed Services option can help you out. It includes half an hour of installation & trouble–shooting duties – it means that you will be able to literally hire one of our experienced server administrators for 30 minutes and have him assist you with the installation of any kind of software program that you need. Or have him resolve a problem that you are having with your Virtual Private Server.

The Optional Managed Services package comes bundled with the majority of our OpenVZ Linux Virtual Private Servers and is an optional feature for the KVM Linux Virtual Private Servers.
